Teach what you love.
Build a community of your own.
Help prepare the next generation of hypnotherapists
with an established curriculum and respected school behind you.
Imagine welcoming your first group of students.
They arrive curious, enthusiastic, perhaps a little uncertain. Over the months ahead, you watch their confidence grow. You see the moment when a concept clicks, when a hesitant student conducts an excellent session, or when someone realizes,
“I can really do this.”
You are no longer changing lives only through your own client work. You are teaching others who will carry that work into hundreds—or even thousands—of future sessions.
For nearly three decades, I have taught hypnotherapists to work without scripts—to listen, observe, think intelligently, and respond to the unique person in front of them. More than 2,100 practitioners have now received that training.
Now, I am preparing a select group of experienced graduates to carry this work forward.
From Practitioner to Instructor
You already know how to practice hypnotherapy.
You've sat with real clients, followed unexpected turns, learned from difficult moments, and witnessed what becomes possible when someone feels deeply heard and skillfully guided.
Now you have something more to offer:
Experience worth passing on.
Teaching opens an entirely different dimension of this work. You have the pleasure of watching students develop, creating a community centered on something you value, and becoming the person they remember as they begin their own professional journeys.
It also expands your professional identity.
You may become known not only as a skilled practitioner but also as a teacher, mentor, and leader in the field. New students, professional relationships, speaking opportunities, collaborations, advanced programs, and leadership roles may grow from the community you create.
One cohort can open doors you cannot yet see.
This program will help you make the transition thoughtfully—from doing the work yourself to teaching others how to do it well.
Earn Respected Credentials
Establish a Lucrative Revenue Stream
The IHAA Hypnotherapy Instructor Certification is a professional development program for accomplished hypnotherapy graduates who are ready to move beyond practicing hypnotherapy to begin teaching it.
Certified Instructor of Hypnotherapy
and
Charter Faculty of the
Integrative Healing Arts Academy
Not only will you earn prestige, but you will also create a lucrative stream of income that opens doors to even more opportunities.
Applications are now being accepted.
Admission begins with a private Zoom interview.
What It Takes to Build a Certification Program from the Ground Up
You may have dreamed of establishing your own training course. You see how much fun it is to teach and can imagine yourself at the front of the class.
It's a great dream and a career path I have successfully built and enjoyed for three decades.
But what you see in the classroom isn't the full story.
You may already have the knowledge and experience to teach hypnotherapy techniques. But possessing the knowledge is very different from creating a complete professional training program.
Let me take you behind the scenes.
Building a certification course independently could require hundreds—or even thousands—of hours.
You need to determine the:
- curriculum
- learning sequence
- training requirements
- practice experiences
- evaluations
- ethical standards
- completion criteria
- and certification procedures.
Then you need to
- write the lessons
- create demonstrations and supporting materials
- record and edit the online content
- develop student resources
- and test whether the entire program works as intended.
(My course has gone through over a dozen modifications to arrive at the current successful formula.)
Even after investing the time and money to create all of this, you would still need to establish the reputation of the course and convince prospective students that its curriculum, standards, and certification have genuine value.
Earning your credentials and teaching through the Integrative Healing Arts Academy saves you years of research, development, experimenting, and mini-failures. (All the things I went through to get to this point.)
You Do Not Have to
Begin at the Beginning
or Build Your Career Path Alone
You'll step into a professional training model built from three decades of teaching experience.
The curriculum has already been developed, organized, taught, refined, and used to prepare more than 2,100 practitioners.
The online course, student platform, administrative systems, certification framework, and school identity are already in place.
Your task is to build the part that should be uniquely yours (and is the most fun):
The live learning experience.
You can devote your time to enrolling, teaching, demonstrating, mentoring, guiding practice, and developing your students—while IHAA maintains the educational and administrative foundation behind your program.
This does not merely save you time and expense. It allows you to build a lucrative revenue stream with established substance, completeness, and credibility that could otherwise take years to establish.
You Already Know How to
Practice Hypnotherapy
This program is not designed to teach you hypnotherapy again.
You have already studied the principles and methods of client-centered hypnotherapy. You have worked with real clients, encountered unexpected situations, developed professional judgment, and discovered what it means to follow the client's lead rather than force a predetermined process.
Now the question becomes:
Can you teach another person
to do the same?
Teaching this work requires more than explaining techniques. It means helping students understand how to think, observe, choose an appropriate direction, and respond when a session does not unfold as expected.
It also means preserving the essential foundations of the IHAA method while allowing both you and your students to develop your own voices.
You will not be trained to imitate me.
You will be prepared to teach this body of work accurately, responsibly, and in a way that remains genuinely your own.
More Than an Online Course
What to expect:
Establish Foundations
Your online course covers the basics of teaching adults new skills and provides guidelines for working with the Integrative Healing Arts Academy to promote and teach your unique training.
We'll have an initial group call on Zoom to discuss teaching protocols and begin designing your training model. Additional calls will be scheduled as needed.
You'll have the option to co-instruct a group of students during a Mastery Activation Weekend (or equivalent proof of practice and readiness).
Launch Your Training
You'll receive support as you develop and design your instructor profile and sales page, which will reside on the Teachable platform. You'll have a unique URL to distribute to your prospective students.
Together, we'll organize your first cohort, deciding on the format, location, duration, tuition, and more.
You may choose to offer classes in a variety of ways, on Zoom, in person, on weekends, at retreats, or at conferences. The details of your offerings may evolve over time, but you will be ready to teach your first group by the end of the program.
Ongoing Support
Over the following year, I'll be available to you as your guide and mentor. We'll troubleshoot, brainstorm, and create.
I'll also manage the Teachable dashboard, update it with current event dates, and provide other behind-the-scenes support.
Support continues as you establish yourself as a Certified Hypnotherapy Instructor and Authorized Instructor of Transformational Hypnotherapy through the Integrative Healing Arts Academy platform.
Your opportunities for career growth and abundant streams of income are only limited by your imagination.
HOW BIG CAN YOU DREAM?
Instructor Program Curriculum
Your Professional Independence
Is Respected
Becoming an IHAA instructor does not prevent you from continuing your private practice or teaching workshops, classes, and professional material you have independently developed.
You may continue to teach orignally-created hypnotherapy and related subjects outside IHAA.
The boundary is straightforward: IHAA curriculum, instructor materials, proprietary resources, branding, and certification structure may be used only within authorized IHAA programs.
The goal is to protect the work and reputation of the school while allowing every instructor to continue developing their own professional interests and offerings, if they want.
A Place Within
the Future of IHAA
I have no desire to build a new career teaching instructor programs.
At this stage of my life, this program serves a very different purpose: it is part of my plan to step back gracefully while ensuring that the work I have developed continues in capable hands.
I created a body of work of which I am deeply proud. I've had the career I wanted, made the contribution I hoped to make, and feel genuinely fulfilled by what I have accomplished.
Now the time has come to make room for others.
I want to prepare a select group of instructors who will carry this work forward—bringing their own voices, experience, and vision to it while building reputations, communities, and legacies of their own.
Because I expect to offer this instructor certification only a limited number of times, the opportunity to train with me directly may not remain available for long.
The members of this initial instructor cohort will receive the permanent designation:
Charter Faculty Member of IHAA
This distinction recognizes the faculty members who help establish the instructor model and carry the school into its next chapter.
Upon successful completion of the development, evaluation, and authorization requirements, you will earn the professional credential:
Certified Instructor of Hypnotherapy
This may also become the beginning of a larger leadership pathway.
Future opportunities for graduates of this program are expected to include:
- Training and authorization to teach the IHAA Past Life Regression program
- Participation and collaboration in future Mastery Activation Weekends
- Mentoring and teaching the next generation of instructors
- Expanded faculty and leadership responsibilities
- A potential pathway for qualified faculty members to help carry the school forward in the years ahead as I fully retire
These opportunities will be based upon experience, ability and interest, and the evolving needs of IHAA.
Who Should Apply?
This program is intended for experienced graduates who:
- Have successfully completed my professional Hypnotherapy Certification training or equivalent
- Have substantial experience conducting professional hypnotherapy sessions
- Understand and value client-centered, non-scripted hypnotherapy
- Demonstrate sound ethical and professional judgment
- Communicate clearly and comfortably
- Can receive and apply constructive feedback
- Want to recruit and teach their own students
- Are willing to preserve the essential IHAA curriculum and certification standards
Applicants should generally be able to document previously completing at least 300 hours of professional hypnotherapy work with clients.
Previous experience in teaching, training, presenting, or facilitating workshops is helpful.
If you trained as a hypnotherapist through another school, you’re still welcome to apply. You’ll simply need to complete my online hypnotherapy program so you’re thoroughly familiar with the curriculum, concepts, and methods you’ll be teaching.
I'm interested in strong practitioners who demonstrate the maturity, communication ability, and professional presence to become excellent instructors.
We'll Begin With a Conversation
Admission to the IHAA Hypnotherapy Instructor Certification program begins with a private Zoom interview.
This is not intended to be an intimidating audition.
It is an opportunity for us to discuss:
- Your professional experience
- Your interest in teaching
- The students you may want to serve
- The kind of program you envision
- The responsibilities and opportunities of becoming an IHAA instructor
- Whether this pathway is a good fit for both of us
If you feel ready to move from practitioner to instructor—and to help prepare the next generation of hypnotherapists—I invite you to request an interview.
